The Xe Giveaway is a contest for our money transfer customers based in the UK and Australia who are sending money to India and the Philippines, with one grand monetary prize for UK-India transfers and one for Australia-Philippines transfers.
To enter the UK-India giveaway, send an Xe money transfer of at least £250 from the UK to India before the end of September 2020.
To enter the Australia-Philippines giveaway, send an Xe money transfer of at least $250 AUD from Australia to the Philippines before the end of September 2020.
The winner of the UK-India Xe Giveaway will receive 100,000 Indian rupee, converted into their local currency.
The winner of the Australia-Philippine Xe Giveaway will receive the equivalent of 50,000 Philippine peso, up to $2500 AUD.
The UK-India giveaway will begin on August 27, 2020, at 9:00 am GMT. It will close on September 30, 2020 at 11:59 pm GMT. All money transfers must be made and settled within this window to be eligible for the giveaway.
The Australia-Philippines giveaway will begin on August 27, 2020, at 9:00 am AEDT. It will close on September 30, 2020 at 11:59 pm AEST. All money transfers must be made and settled within this window to be eligible for the giveaway.
There is a minimum: your money transfer must be at least £250 (from the UK) or $250 AUD (from Australia) to qualify.

There is no limit to the number of times you can transfer to enter, so long as all money transfers meet the requirements for entry.
No, it does not. Any transfer of at least $250 (from Australia) or £250 (from the UK) will qualify as an entry. Transferring larger amounts will not have any influence over your chances.
The winner will be chosen by random draw.
The winner will be chosen on October 5, 2020. If you win, you will be notified by October 6, 2020.
Xe will transfer the equivalent of the prize money in the winner’s local currency (converted at the Xe Rate on the day the winner is drawn) to the winner’s linked bank account.
The winner will be notified by email or by telephone (using the contact information you provided) by October 6, 2020. If you win, you will have 5 business days to respond to Xe; if there is no response, a new winner will be drawn.
The currency conversion will be carried out at the Xe Rate on October 5, 2020, the day the winner is drawn.
Terms & Conditions – Cash Giveaway (UK)
1. The [‘Send Money to India Prize Draw’] (the Prize Draw) is open to consumer customers of HiFX Europe Limited trading as ‘Xe’ (“Xe”) based in the UK. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Xe, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw.
2. Upon the transfer of the Indian Rupee (INR) currency equivalent of 250GBP to a beneficiary account located in India a customer will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw.
3. The Prize Draw is open from 9:00AM GMT on 27th August 2020 and closes on 11:59PM GMT time on 30 September 2020. Money transfers from the UK to India that are settled by the Xe customer after this time will not be considered.
4. Xe accepts no responsibility in related to the Prize Draw for any money transfers which are not completed for any reason
5. A winner will be chosen by random draw on 5th October 2020 ("Draw Date").
6. The winner will receive the GBP equivalent of 100,000 Indian Rupees. The GBP currency conversion shall be carried out at a rate available with Xe on the Draw Date.
7. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided to Xe by the customer) before 6th October 2020. If a winner does not respond to Xe within five business days of being notified by Xe, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Xe will be
entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
8. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
9. The decision of Xe regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10. Xe shall make available upon written request information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Xe will send the surname and county of the prize winner, and the local currency amount won by the winner, to anyone who emails marketing@xe.com within one month after 30th September 2020. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and prize amount being made available, please contact Xe at: marketing@xe.com. In such circumstances, Xe may still provide the information and winning entry to any competent regulatory bodies, upon on request.

Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Xe reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
12. Xe reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
13. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
